Welcome to the Read at Home (RAH) page!

Our PTA’s Read at Home program provides every Longfellow student with at least two books each school year. In addition to being an important academic skill, reading also helps children to understand the world and become kind and empathetic members of their community. So, we hope that all students receive books they enjoy and continue to develop their love of reading this year!

We will be focusing on purchasing quality, diverse texts that represent our school community because we believe that all students deserve to see themselves reflected in books.

If you have book suggestions or questions about the program, we’d love to hear from you! You can contact the RAH chair at readathome@lblongfellowpta.org.
